I’m Bobbie, owner of Stubbies and Tails Pet Service—and one of your pet’s newest best friends! But I’m not the only one who will be loving on your furry family member. Your pet also gets the added care and attention of Kelly and our families.

As moms (to both dogs and humans), we understand the special bond between pets and their parents. We bring affection, patience, and fun to ensure your pet feels completely at home with us. With years of experience working with animals and a strong understanding of pet behavior, you can rest assured your pet will be nurtured and genuinely loved while you’re away.

Our Services

Stop N’ Go

While you’re away, we’re delighted to stop by and give your furry family all the love, care, and attention they need. Simply let us know how many visits you’d like, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Each 30-minute visit includes:

  • Potty breaks 

  • Feedings

  • Waste cleanup 

  • Play time

  • Pictures of your pet

  • Other services can be provided upon request

  • Starting at $15 per visit

House sitting

Just like a “Stop N’ Go,” your pet gets to stay relaxed and comfortable in the place they love most—home. We’re happy to stay overnight at your residence to provide extra support, security, and companionship.

 

Your overnight stay includes:

  • One Stop N’ Go visit during the day 

  • Feedings and water refreshment

  • Waste cleanup

  • Playtime

  • Pictures of your pet

  • Other services can be provided upon request

  • Starting at $45 per night

Boarding

Who says you get to have all the fun? Your pups will enjoy their own home-away-from-home at my residence.

 

This premium service includes:

  • Feedings (we’ll serve the food you bring at the typical time your pup eats)

  • Lots of play time, indoors and outside (large fenced-in yard and playground area)

  • Lounge time and cuddles with the McAfee family

  • In-home kennel, if pups need some time apart 

  • Pictures of your pup

  • Other services can be provided upon request

  • A meet and greet is essential, and vaccinations must be up to date.

  • Starting at $40 per night

Walking

Whether you’re working, in school, or simply busy with everyday life, let us give your pup the exercise they need. Daily or occasional—whatever your schedule requires—we’ve got you covered.

 

Our 30-minute (or longer) walks include:

  • Waste cleanup 

  • Water dish refreshment 

  • Pictures of your pup

  • Other services can be provided upon request

  • Starting at $20 per walk

What can I expect when I reach out to book with you?

Let’s schedule your free meet and greet! This visit is the perfect opportunity for you to ask questions, for your pet to get comfortable with us, and for us to review important details such as feeding routines, energy levels, and daily habits. 


Our goal is to ensure that both you and your furry loved one feel completely at ease—from the very first meeting to the completion of services. After booking, you’ll receive a service confirmation along with a detailed cost estimate.

What can I expect during my pet’s stay/walk/drop-in?

Throughout your service, we’ll keep you updated with messages and photos of your pet enjoying playtime and plenty of pampering. We’re also happy to assist with small household tasks such as taking out the trash or collecting your mail. Most importantly, you can relax knowing your fur babies are in the care of dependable, trustworthy, and loving sitters.

What is your service radius?

Our services are primarily offered in the Northern Suffolk, Churchland, and Western Branch areas of Hampton Roads to ensure the highest level of care for every pet. What types of pets do you provide care for?

We typically care for furry pets like dogs and cats, but we’ve also looked after chickens, ducks, hamsters, and more. If you have a unique or specialty pet, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to answer any questions.

How many other dogs will be staying overnight?

Capacity is limited to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My home is equipped with indoor kennels and a fenced-in outdoor space for play or quiet time when needed. I want both pets and their parents to feel completely at ease, so if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call me.

What are your service rates?

Pricing varies based on the type and duration of service. We proudly care for all pets and their owners, and we strive to provide options that meet every family’s needs. Please reach out with your specific care requirements, and we’ll be happy to provide an accurate quote.

How many years of experience do you have?

Our sitters have over 20 years of experience and have owned and cared for pets of all kinds. With a strong understanding of animal behavior, you can feel confident that your loved one is in excellent hands. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
