Meet Bobbie
Hello! I’m Bobbie, the owner of Stubbies and Tails Pet Service and one of your dedicated pet sitters. I’ve been providing exceptional care to pets for more than 25 years. My journey began in my teenage years, when family, friends, and neighbors regularly entrusted me with their furry loved ones.
As a military wife moving to new commands, I continued to build lasting bonds with neighbors and friends who recognized my genuine compassion and trusted me to care for their pets. What began as a fun, fulfilling hobby has now grown into a thriving full-time business.
From overnight boarding to drop-in visits and daily walks, my family and I treat every pet as if they were our own. None of this would be possible without the incredible support of my husband, Jerry, and our boys, Cooper and Lucas. They are an essential part of our family-run business and love being involved. Even our own four-legged crew—Buckey and Ripley—enjoy welcoming new friends into our home.
When we’re not surrounded by pets, you can usually find us spending quality time together, making memories through fun experiences and traveling wherever our next adventure takes us.

From a passion to a new purpose
Stubbies and Tails was born during one of the most challenging chapters of my life. Before S&T, I was a stay-at-home mom to my two wonderful boys. As they grew more independent, I found myself struggling with a deep sense of lost purpose. I slipped into depression, and life felt overwhelmingly heavy.​
Although I had always loved animals, I never imagined turning that love into a business—until a friend invited me to help walk dogs for her pet-sitting company. What began as a small favor became a turning point. Spending time with those dogs brought me genuine joy. They gave me a renewed sense of meaning and helped me heal, even as I was offering them comfort and companionship.
Opportunities continued to come, and what started as a simple act of kindness blossomed into a thriving business. Caring for pets—and supporting the people who love them—became my purpose.
Along the way, I met many wonderful pet parents, including Kelly, a fellow military wife, mom, and lifelong animal lover. In 2024, I had the pleasure of welcoming her into the Stubbies and Tails family. Together, with the support of our families, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care, and giving you true peace of mind, every time you trust us with your beloved pets.

Meet Kelly
Hi! I’m a Texas native and lifelong pet owner and sitter. As a military wife and devoted mom to three kids, one lovable dog, and four cats, my life is full of energy, love, and plenty of wagging tails. My deep affection for animals naturally led me to pet sitting—and I even once flew across the country just to stay with a family member’s dog while they traveled.

When the military relocated our family to Suffolk, I discovered Bobbie’s Pet Sitting Services and booked her without hesitation. We quickly connected, bonding over the rhythms of military life, raising kids close in age, and our shared passion for caring for animals.

In 2024, I joined the Stubbies and Tails family, bringing my warmth and reliability to walking and drop-in services. I take pride in leaving every home better than I found it and giving each pet plenty of love and cuddles while their parents are away. Our families have come together the way military families often do, and I truly love being part of our family-operated services. You can count on my husband, Kurt, and my daughter, Kaelynn, to care for your pets with the same love and attention they give our own.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me with a cat on my lap, spending time with my kids, or crafting—especially creating Texas-sized homecoming mums!
